About this job…

Nosco is looking for a Customer Fufillment Technician on our second and third shifts at our Pleasant Prairie, WI facility.

 

As an employee owner in this position, you will be involved in the operation of a carton folding/gluing asset in order to perform the final step of digital folding carton production. The purpose of this position is to work alongside a folder/gluer operator to produce folded cartons in order to meet on time delivery, high quality expectations, and in accordance to all customer specifications in a safe and efficient manner. This position also packages all products and supplies all customer required documentation.

 

In this role, you will…

  • Follow proper procedures, including proper documentation, when performing job responsibilities as outlined in the SOP’s and the GMP Manual.
  • Ensure items are labeled and palletized correctly
  • Follows direction from folder/gluer operator in gathering necessary components for production run (required forms, cases, supplemental packging material, etc)
  • Acts as a last defense against defects by performing real time checks on the assets/ Identifying problems in a timely manner and altering pressman or leadership to avoid
  • shortages or remakes.
  • Packages all product and ensures accurate case and row counts
  • Utlizes ERP system to complete required customer documentation, palletizes orders, and performs the release to finished goods when applicable

 

Success factors…

  • The ability to understand defects which may be encountered in the manufacturing of folding cartons
  • High school diploma/equivalency required (including the ability to read a ruler, perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and ability to read and comprehend customer specifications for documentation)
  • Prior background in manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated industry and/or that utilizes an ERP system
  • An eye for detail and excellent documentation skills
  • Physical requirements: Twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, reaching over equipment, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Long periods of concentration.
  • Speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.

Qualifications
  • Motivated individual with good communication skills.
  • The ability to understand defects which may be encountered in the manufacturing of printed and folded literature.
  • A positive attitude and good attendance with the willingness to work overtime on short notice.
  • Team player that believes safety must always be practiced and be a priority.
  • Good hand-to-eye coordination to feed or catch product in a fast paced production setting.
  • Accurate reporting in the ERP system and on other documentation.
  • An eye for detail will be critical for detecting quality imperfections during production.
  • The ability to make acceptable quality decisions while under production pressures.
  • Mentoring skills for training new and inexperienced members of your team.
  • Physical Requirements: Twisting, turning, grasping, squeezing, periods of extended standing, ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
