The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is looking for fun and outgoing people to work on our team as part time Line Cooks. We offer flexible work schedules, and for those interested, cross-training in a variety of positions and the opportunity to learn the hotel industry.

As a Cook on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:

Work in designated station as set by Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef.
Able to organize the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders.
Able to produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner for guests,
Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist.
Check supplies and prep lists and ensure all items are prepped in a timely fashion.
Communicate any assistance needed during busy periods and report any incidents to the Sous Chef to ensure optimum service to guests.
Wash and disinfect kitchen area, workstations, tables, tools, knives and other equipment.
Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost.

The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:

Previous experience as a cook.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Dependability and regular attendance.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
