About the Role:
As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures and components. Your expertise in various welding techniques will ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Ultimately, your work will contribute to the successful completion of projects that meet client specifications and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience welding with GMAW, FCAW and proficient when welding GTAW pipe
- Must pass a Carbon and Stainless-steel Gas Tungsten Arc pipe weld tests in the 6G position.
- Experience using normal fabrication shop tools and equipment as in Oxy/Fuel torch, Plasma equipment, Band Saw and associated hand tools
- Must have a current Washington state driver's license.
- Blueprint/Engineering drawing experience is required
- Must have pipe and or structural fitting experience with minimal supervisory oversight
Responsibilities:
- Able to weld pipe and structural at journeyman level
- Clean and maintain weld shop and tools
- Read mechanical drawings
- Ability to perform tasks in assigned hours by labor standard
