Independence Rehab is actively seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Solstice at Point Defiance in Tacoma, and Arbor Village in Kent, both beautiful Assisted Living facilities.

About the Role

As a COTA in a skilled nursing setting, you'll work collaboratively with the therapy team to support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care-helping them achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life.

SNF Practice Highlights

  • Treat a diverse caseload, including occasional clinically complex patients

  • Perform and assist with all types of transfers

  • Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice

  • Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team

  • Competency training is available-we're happy to support your growth in any of these areas

Requirements

  • Current Washington State Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing

  • Associate degree from an accredited OTA program
