Why This Role Matters

The Dishwasher plays a vital role in our kitchen by ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and work areas in accordance with food safety regulations and company standards. This position is essential to maintaining a safe, efficient, and welcoming dining environment for both our team and our guests.

What You'll Do

Collect used kitchenware, utensils, and dishes from dining and kitchen areas in a timely manner
Load, operate, and unload dishwashing machines safely and efficiently
Wash large or delicate items by hand as needed (e.g., rice pots, oversized cookware, specialty glassware)
Ensure clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools are properly sanitized, organized, and stocked to support smooth kitchen operations
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and promptly notify a supervisor when stock is low
Inspect and report any issues with dishwashing equipment or kitchen sanitation concerns
Remove garbage, recyclables, and compost in accordance with company procedures and OSHA standards
Clean and sanitize designated kitchen areas, storage spaces, and restrooms as assigned, following OSHA, local health department, and company guidelines
Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation procedures, including proper chemical handling, labeling, and PPE use
Support kitchen staff during peak service times by anticipating needs and communicating proactively
Uphold company values of teamwork, integrity, and respect while supporting a safe and inclusive workplace\

Requirements

What You Bring to the Table

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout an 8+ hour shift
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat, steam, and wet conditions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Food Handler's Card required (or willing to obtain within first 14 days of employment)
Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required
