Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead sanitation programs, processes, and teams at our Kent, Washington manufacturing facility. You will oversee sanitation requirements for equipment, machinery, and facilities while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. You will collaborate with engineers, suppliers, contractors, and plant partners to maintain a clean and sanitary environment that supports safe food production. You will join a team of 19 associates and work a 10-hour shift beginning at 2:00 p.m., Thursday through Sunday.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, implement, train, and monitor plant sanitation crews, processes, and methods.
  • Plan and implement daily, weekly, and periodic plant-wide cleaning and sanitation activities.
  • Maintain the Master Cleaning Schedule, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, Plant Improvement Plan, and Environmental Swabbing Program.
  • Partner with plant leadership to drive continuous improvement in sanitation processes.
  • Conduct plant inspections and audits and track corrective actions through completion.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Report food safety concerns to leadership and support a strong food safety culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve sanitation effectiveness and plant performance.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or GED required.  Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of sanitation supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Experience with Food Safety Guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Experience with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point plans.
  • Understanding of Food and Drug Administration and United States Department of Agriculture regulations.
  • Understanding of Clean in Place and Clean Out of Place systems.
  • Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance fundamentals.
  • Experience working in a large corporate or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Ability to read and interpret measurements.
  • Knowledge of microbiology and sanitation principles preferred.

This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
