Senior Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing mechanical test systems including hydraulic/pneumatic for aircraft components.
- The engineer will read OEM test specifications and work with customers to design custom test equipment.
- Will oversee and coordinate assigned projects from design to installation and startup.
Senior Mechanical Engineer Qualifications / Skills:
- Mechanical engineer, minimum 10 years of experience - with emphasis on hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Must be an energetic self-driven induvial needing minimal supervision
- Strong Verbal communication
- Leadership skills to direct small engineering team
- Experience with building component aircraft ground test equipment preferred
- Shop experience with working with hand tools with general knowledge of machining and metal fabrication
Education and Experience Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
