About the Role:

The Supply Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient management and distribution of materials and products within an organization. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or procurement roles.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in supply chain management such as APICS CPIM or CSCP.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of logistics and transportation management.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to supply chain operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects or teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Coordinate procurement processes including vendor selection, purchase orders, and contract management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplies, shipments, and transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply chain issues.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Prepare reports on inventory status, procurement activities, and supply chain performance.
