We are seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled Therapist who is committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, culturally responsive, and confident working with clients across individual, family, and group settings. Experience in crisis intervention, interdisciplinary treatment planning, and behavioral health or substance use treatment is highly valued.
The Therapist reports directly to the Program Director and plays an integral role in advancing FR Health’s clinical objectives and mission. This position provides individual, group, couples/family therapy and client-centered care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team.
The Therapist is responsible for maintaining a consistent caseload, overseeing each client’s daily treatment experience, completing clinical assessments and documentation, participating in treatment planning, and providing appropriate therapeutic and crisis intervention services.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage a consistent caseload of clients.
- Oversee the daily treatment experience and clinical needs of assigned clients.
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments upon admission and complete reassessments as required.
- Conduct mental status examinations and ongoing clinical evaluations.
- Review client history, presenting symptoms, and clinical needs to develop appropriate treatment recommendations.
- Develop and participate in individualized treatment planning.
- Provide individual, couples/family, and group psychotherapy as clinically indicated.
- Provide crisis intervention services and assess client risk as needed.
- Complete all required clinical documentation accurately, timely, and in accordance with organizational standards.
- Complete Additional Sessions Requests and other required clinical forms.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and adhere to applicable legal and ethical standards.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Demonstrate respect for cultural, social, and lifestyle diversity among clients and staff.
- Participate in quarterly staffing meetings and interdisciplinary treatment team activities.
- Assist with Equine-Assisted Therapy programming as needed.
- Participate continuously as a member of the Critical Incident Response Team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Current License with Board of Behavioral Sciences DHCS- Mental Health Services, DSS, TJC and regulatory agencies required.
- Minimum of two years of experience evaluating and/or treating individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use concerns.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Current TB screening with negative results, as required.
- Additional qualifications may vary based on assignment and program requirements.
