Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager - Boutique Fitness
Reports to: Studio Sales Manager

POSITION

YogaSix Greenbrae is seeking a dynamic, results-driven sales professional to join the team as an Assistant Studio Manager. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets through strategic community outreach, lead generation, new member sales, and retention, creating a thriving community through excellent service, and ensuring operational excellence. He/she must have strong customer service skills, communicate effectively and efficiently, be team-oriented, and have a drive and passion for sales and service. 

 

Work Hours: 25 hours per week (back-to-back days off) (subject to change)

  • Saturday: 7 am-12 pm
  • Sunday: 8:30 am-1:30 pm
  • Monday-Wednesday: 3:30 pm-8:30 pm
 

DUTIES

  • Plan and execute sales processes to generate leads and drive membership sales
  • Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams: memberships, retail, and teacher training
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, and able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Confident in generating personal sales and training Wellness Advisors in sales
  • Generate business-to-business partnerships and connect with the local community to drive awareness, leads, and membership sales
  • Attend marketing events to promote the studio and generate leads
  • Ability to take initiative, recognize areas of improvement, and make changes using good judgment
  • Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email
  • Plan and execute grassroots marketing, community networking events, and promotions to generate leads for the studio and membership sales
  • Ensuring our studio space is a clean, welcoming oasis for practice
  • Manage maintenance issues, inventory, and cleaning
  • Participate in studio, regional, and company-wide meetings and trainings as needed
  • Proficient with computers and Studio software
 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 2+ years of service sales or fitness sales experience, who is results-driven with proven experience in achieving sales targets
  • Experienced in lead generation and driving membership sales
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute tasks effectively
  • Must be trustworthy and able to handle confidential information. Expected to work harmoniously with colleagues, members, partners, and the general public,
  • Ability to excel in a fast-changing, dynamic environment
  • Self starter
 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employee must be able to work hours that may exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week, including nights and weekends, especially during peak activity periods.
  • May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car. This job requires the person to climb up and down flights of stairs, as elevators are not present at all locations. May be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
  • Must be able to effectively hear in person and via telephone.

  • Competitive compensation: Base pay + commission paid on sales, from $20-$45
