PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: Operate a variety of Vacuum Former and Trim Press/Robot equipment to produce quality products to meet the customer requirements.

 

BACKGROUND REQUIRED: 

 

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for up to 10 hours 
  • Must have excellent reading, writing, communication, and math skills
  • Ability to work OT as needed
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously
  • High school diploma / GED preferred

SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

  • Operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) Screen
  • Understand Vac & Trim machine functions
  • Problem solving knowledge and ability
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
  • Follow Standardized Work Instructions
  • Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
  • Observe general and specific safety rules
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and contribute to the overall orderliness of the plant
  • Follow process instructions, machine adjustments, calibrations as set by the process tech, advise lead if outside of parameters
  • Responsible for the operation of the machine
  • Fill out all required paperwork including but not limited to production, scrap and downtime 
  • Ability to train others as needed
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • HMI (Human Machine Interface)
  • Hand Tools

3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am
1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
40 hours per week plus OT as needed.
