BACKGROUND REQUIRED:Â
- Competent reading, writing, math, and problem-solving skills
- Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment putting safety firstÂ
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
- High School Diploma/ GED and automotive experience preferred
SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Reading and writing skills are adequate for following written instructions and completing required documentation.
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to lift and twist for 8-10 hour shifts
- Computer Literate
- Ability to get HILO License
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for staging loads for shipment.
- Receiving of raw material and returnable containers.
- Organized storage of finished goods prior to shipment.
- Entry of count point and receiving paperwork for the control of inventory and scheduling.
- Willingness to learn basic computer basic tasks pertaining to the shipment of goods to the customer including electronic communications to customer
- Responsible for loading trucks to meet the customer’s requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.Â
- Housekeeping/5S; ongoing safety initiatives
- Upholding processes and procedures as defined by supervision
- Organization of empty containers in storage
- Ability to use copier/scanner and barcode scanner
- Responsible to take care of components, cardboard, fiber and put in the correct location on the plant floorÂ
- Help with monthly and yearly inventoryÂ
- Required to haul empty containers outside of the facility and keep area cleaned
- Ability to print BOLs and send ASNs for each customer electronically from a computer – to be done on each shift daily
Monday-Friday 1p-9p
40 hours plus overtime as needed
