Behavior Consultant – IBHS

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Job Type: Full-Time (In-person, Community-Based)
Pay: $34.00 – $36.00 per hour (up to $45.00/hour for licensed clinicians)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8-hour shifts



Overview

Paragon Behavioral Health Services, a division of Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is seeking a dedicated Masters-Level Behavioral Consultant to provide community-based therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families impacted by trauma.

This role offers the opportunity to deliver services directly in real-world settings—helping clients build skills, improve functioning, and achieve meaningful, lasting progress.

Position Summary

The Consultant provides assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in community-based environments. This role focuses on strength-based, child-centered, and family-focused care that supports emotional and behavioral development.

Services are delivered in settings such as homes, schools, and community locations, requiring flexibility and strong collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical and behavioral assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual and family therapy aligned with treatment goals
  • Deliver services in home, school, and community environments
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor client progress and update treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in care


Qualifications

Required:

Candidates must meet one of the following:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Applied Behavioral Analysis, or a closely related field with a completed clinical practicum 
  • Active Pennsylvania clinical license required (LBS, LSW, LPC, or LMFT)
  • At least 1 year of full-time mental health direct service experience with children
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel locally (100% travel required for community-based services)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with children and adolescents impacted by trauma
  • Background in community-based or in-home therapy services
  • Strong collaboration with schools and community partners

Work Location

This is an in-person, community-based, school-based and client home setting position serving multiple counties in Pennsylvania. Candidates must be able willing to travel within the assigned area.
