Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician provides one-on-one therapeutic services to children and adolescents in home and community-based settings. This role focuses on implementing individualized treatment plans, supporting behavioral goals, and helping clients develop positive coping and social skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one behavioral health services to assigned clients
  • Implement treatment goals outlined in the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP)
  • Collect and document behavioral data and client progress
  • Model interventions and strategies for caregivers
  • Support development of appropriate social, emotional, and behavioral skills
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for clinical and billing purposes
  • Collaborate with supervisors, Behavior Consultants, and treatment team members
  • Participate in required trainings and maintain compliance standards
  • Represent the organization professionally in all interactions


Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow structured treatment plans and work independently

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Education, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in another field with at least 1 year of experience working with children or adolescents
  • Associate’s degree or 60 college credits with 3+ years of relevant experience


Requirements

  • Ability to obtain PA clearances (Criminal Background, FBI, Child Abuse)
  • Completion of all required training prior to independent client work
  • Commitment to compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards

Work Location
