This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced banking professional to help grow a successful and expanding Private Banking program while building meaningful relationships throughout one of the region's most dynamic markets.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Private Banker is responsible for acquiring, growing, and deepening relationships with high-net-worth individuals, professionals, business owners, and their families through a personalized, consultative approach.

You will serve as a trusted advisor, connecting clients with banking, lending, wealth management, mortgage, treasury, and other financial solutions while delivering a high-touch experience tailored to their unique goals.

This role offers the opportunity to help strengthen F&M Trust's Private Banking presence throughout Greater Lancaster County, with continued investment and additional market resources planned to support long-term growth.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop and manage relationships with high-net-worth clients and centers of influence.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, community involvement, and proactive business development efforts.
• Deliver customized deposit, lending, and financial solutions based on each client's needs.
• Partner with Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Treasury Management, Mortgage, and Retail Banking professionals to provide comprehensive solutions.
• Build credibility and visibility within the Lancaster County community.
• Meet production goals related to deposits, wealth referrals, lending, credit cards, mortgage referrals and relationship growth.
• Maintain a high-touch service model that delivers exceptional client experience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications

• At least three years of banking, private banking, commercial banking, wealth management, or related financial services experience.
• Proven sales and business development success, including the ability to self-generate leads and build new relationships in a developing market.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
• Established connections within the Lancaster County community.
• Ability to work independently, make sound business decisions, and manage complex client relationships.
• Commitment to community involvement and professional engagement.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and client focus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in multiple areas of banking, such as retail banking, commercial banking, lending, wealth management, or treasury services.
• Knowledge of lending, wealth management, and financial planning services.
• Banking industry education.
• Existing relationships with affluent clients, business owners, professionals, and community leaders.
• Leadership roles within nonprofit, civic, or community organizations.
