The Role:

We are looking for our next Master Data Specialist within our Master Data Team. The Master Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate and consistent master data within SAP to support critical business processes. This role ensures data integrity, compliance with governance standards, and timely updates across multiple domains such as materials, vendors, customers, and production data. The position requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and data quality.

This position is located in Keokuk, IA.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $88,065 - $119,200. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Do:

  • Create, update, and validate master data records in SAP (materials, vendors, customers, BOMs, routings).
  • Ensure compliance with established data governance standards and business rules.
  • Perform regular audits and data cleansing activities to maintain high-quality data.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, finance, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate data updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP data-related issues within agreed SLAs.
  • Maintain documentation of master data processes and workflows.
  • Generate reports and metrics to monitor data quality and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and training to end-users on master data processes.
  • Support system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects related to master data.

What You'll Need:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in master data management, preferably in manufacturing or supply chain or equivalent experience. 
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (MM, SD, PP modules preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
