Your Responsibilities

 

 

As a Production Supervisor  for John Deere Kernersville (Main Campus) located in Kernersville, NC, you will:

 

    

  • Provide leadership in promoting a safe work environment through audits and safety activities (Incident investigation, reporting, SERA, and continuous improvement projects)
  • Provide leadership on 1st shift and focus to assure all quality standards and policies are met
  • Be responsible for daily production and product flow using Lean principles
  • Manage technicians' career progression and training
  • Manage activities of all direct reports (vacations, attendance, discipline, and performance evaluations)
  • Support all Quality initiatives including Layered Process Audits (LPA)
  • Collaborate with other departments in supporting company goals and initiatives

What Skills You Need

 

 

  • 5 or more years of manufacturing experience
  • Must be able to work 1st shift, M-F, 6:30am-3:00pm (occasional Saturdays)
  • Strong safety, quality, manufacturing, and leadership skills
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Above average attention to details, strong “Team Player” and problem solving skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills are required

Education

 

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
