Your Responsibilities
As a Production Supervisor for John Deere Kernersville (Main Campus) located in Kernersville, NC, you will:
- Provide leadership in promoting a safe work environment through audits and safety activities (Incident investigation, reporting, SERA, and continuous improvement projects)
- Provide leadership on 1st shift and focus to assure all quality standards and policies are met
- Be responsible for daily production and product flow using Lean principles
- Manage technicians' career progression and training
- Manage activities of all direct reports (vacations, attendance, discipline, and performance evaluations)
- Support all Quality initiatives including Layered Process Audits (LPA)
- Collaborate with other departments in supporting company goals and initiatives

What Skills You Need
- 5 or more years of manufacturing experience
- Must be able to work 1st shift, M-F, 6:30am-3:00pm (occasional Saturdays)
- Strong safety, quality, manufacturing, and leadership skills
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Above average attention to details, strong “Team Player” and problem solving skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are required

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
• 4-year degree preferred (Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering/Technology)
