About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver to join our team in the Transportation and Warehousing industry. As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods and materials to various destinations. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with DOT regulations. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A
  • Proven experience as a truck driver (minimum 2 years)
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation management
  • Ability to read maps and follow directions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • NO major violations or accidents in the past 3 years
  • Possess a current TWIC
  • Ability and experience driving a Manual Transmission truck  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with local roads and delivery routes
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs

Responsibilities:

  • Transport shipping containers to various destinations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to DOT regulations
  • Read maps and follow directions to ensure accurate and efficient delivery routes
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance and delivery times
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure a high level of service and satisfaction

Skills:

As a Driver, you will use your skills in truck driving, DOT regulations, transportation management, and map reading on a daily basis. You will also need excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.
