Central Sterile Supply Supervisor - 3rd Shift
We are seeking a Central Supply Assistant Manager to support the Central Supply Manager in planning, leading, and maintaining efficient day-to-day operations. This role helps oversee employees responsible for furnishing sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment used in the processing of human tissue.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists the Manager in the selection, training, orientation, evaluation, and competency of employees.
- Coordinates the training and documentation for all new and existing Central Supply employees.
- Ensures that personnel adhere to all safety guidelines, training and policies.
- Provides direction to Senior Technicians, Team Leaders and Technicians.
- Performs and assists in coaching staff as related to performance.
- Ensures proper record documentation.
- Communicates training issues to applicable personnel to provide continuity and consistency of training and optimal learning.
- Provides management oversight for the preparation of solutions, arrangement of stock, requisitioning, issuing, controlling, and charging of supplies and equipment.
- Manages productivity and activities of employees engaged in sterilizing, assembling, and packing of processing supplies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous Supply Chain, Central Supply, Hospital OR and/or Continuous Improvement experience.
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required or obtained within one year of position hire date.
- Maintaining annual CEU’s for CRCST certification.

- Requires heavy lifting, moderate levels of standing and is physically demanding.
- Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields.Â
- Requires good eye-hand coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous supervisory experience in an Operating Room (OR), Central Sterile Supply, or Supply Chain environment.
- Coaching and mentoring skills that help others develop to their fullest potential.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead teams, set goals, solve problems, and resolve conflicts.
- Strong technical computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
