We are currently seeking a Full-Time Receptionist to join our team at our Kewanee location.

What Will a Receptionist Do?
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for our clients and plays a critical role in providing exceptional service and fostering client relationships.Â
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and welcoming customers warmly, providing an exceptional level of hospitality as they enter the bank
- Efficiently answering, screening, and directing incoming phone calls to the appropriate department or individual
- Coordinating and managing appointments between customers and bank representatives
- Assist customers with basic banking transactions, including deposits and withdrawals, while maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to bank policies
- Maintaining a foundational understanding of bank products and services to accurately assist with customer inquiries
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned by management to support daily bank operations
Requirements

Experience, Education, and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous administrative or front-desk experience preferred
- Customer service experience strongly preferred
- Ability to successfully complete any required background checks or regulatory screenings
Skills and Competencies Needed
- Exceptional Customer Service skills
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to represent the bank's values professionally
- Strong ability to multitask, manage front-lobby traffic, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn general computer and banking applications
- Must demonstrate consistent and reliable physical attendance; the ability to strictly adhere to scheduled bank hours is an essential function of this role
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Most duties are performed in a climate-controlled front lobby and office environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at the front reception desk may be required
- Must be able to use standard office equipment, handle cash transactions, and perform tasks with accuracy
