Dessert Bar Attendant - Beaches and Cream Ice Cream Shop

Position Summary: Provide quality service in all aspects of The Ice Cream Shop.  Follow established side work guidelines to exact specifications. Organize and maintain station and equipment in a neat and orderly fashion that meets manager’s expectations.  Communicate with team to complete a successful shift. Maintain and contribute to a positive work environment.      

Pay Rate: The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate required.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. 
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, coworkers, and management to their understanding. 
• Point of Sales system (Agilisys or other) / Foodservice experience preferred.

Expectations & Responsibilities:

• Properly follow all processes that are in place. 
• Properly rotate all food and drink products in stock.   
• Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and resort requirements. 
• Contribute to the growth and success of the team.
• Communicate effectively between FOH and BOH.
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. 
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through with assigned tasks.
• Ability to be a clear thinker, remains calm, and resolves problems using good judgment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Ability to keep a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Essential Physical Requirements:

• 100% - Stands during shift.
• 75% - reaches, bends, and stoops frequently.
• 75% -Verbally communicates with guests and phone. 
• 20% - Carries 20-40lbs. (20 – 30 feet) about 10 times per shift.
