This area is designed with both residents and care team members in mind.We are seeking compassionate, service-oriented Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who want to make a difference in a supportive environment with a low resident-to-caregiver ratio that allows you to truly know your residents and provide the level of care they deserve.
A Typical Day:
- Uphold Resident Rights and HIPAA standards
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while encouraging independence
- Provide personal care services in alignment with each resident’s plan of care
- Assist residents with dining, including escorting to the dining room and in-room dining
- Observe, document, and promptly report changes in resident condition
- Participate in walking rounds and exchange shift reports with supervisors
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Practice standard infection control and safety precautions at all times
- Communicate and collaborate with nursing, supervisors, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide laundry and ironing services for residents as needed
- Maintain a pleasant, respectful, and courteous demeanor with residents, families, and team members
- Respond promptly to pagers and review the communication book each shift
- Participate in assigned “lunch duty”
Requirements
What We Need In A Candidate:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and in good physical health
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in South Carolina
- Must be listed in good standing on the South Carolina Nurse Aide Registry
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work well as part of a collaborative care team
