Job DetailsJob Location: Lake Harmony, PA 18624Job Category: Hospitality - HotelOverview:  To assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of hotel premises, ensuring a pleasant and positive guest experience by managing linen and cleaning tasks. Job Responsibilities:  Clean rooms as needed, including hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals. Move and arrange furniture, dust, and polish furniture, metalwork, and equipment. Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms, mops, and powered machinery. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies with a vacuum cleaner. Collect soiled linens for laundering and store clean linens in the linen closet. Clean bathrooms and replenish supplies as needed. Restock rooms with necessary supplies (towels, etc.) and prepare the cleaning cart with appropriate supplies for the shift. Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills. Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays; transport trash to disposal areas. Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner. Handle all requests for luggage assistance in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner. Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to hotel standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Skills:  Ability to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects. Ability to understand and follow simple instructions. Willingness to learn and adapt to procedures and techniques. Ability to perform routine tasks repeatedly with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to greet and interact with guests in a friendly and warm manner. Availability to work overtime and irregular hours.  QualificationsJob Qualifications:  Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is a plus, but not required. Weekends and Holidays required Preferred Qualifications:  Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Reliability and punctuality.
