The Branch Manager is accountable for building a culture of excellence by establishing robust systems, processes, and procedures to recruit, train, and develop top-tier talent. Ensuring the company operates at an optimal level of profitability is a key responsibility. Job Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily workflow and efficiency of the Field Service Department, ensuring that all operations align with company standards, goals, and strategic objectives. This role involves supervising and supporting field staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, and, when necessary, disciplining team members in accordance with company policies. The Branch Manager ensures timely completion of tasks, accurate documentation, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) while continuously updating and maintaining them as needed.

As a key leadership team member, the Branch Manager collaborates with other departments, including Production, HR, and Administration, to optimize scheduling, routing, resource allocation, and safety compliance. The role also entails managing equipment, inventory, and service trucks to maintain operational efficiency, evaluating equipment utilization, and making recommendations for future purchases. A crucial aspect of this role is ensuring that production operations run smoothly with minimal unscheduled disruptions by proactively maintaining equipment, streamlining workflows, and addressing potential bottlenecks before they impact operations.

The Branch Manager must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, effectively managing team leaders and field staff daily while promoting a professional, collaborative, and positive work environment. Ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, maintaining regulatory compliance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives are critical responsibilities. Additionally, the Branch Manager plays a pivotal role in business development, strategic planning, and budget management. This individual is expected to proactively communicate with the CEO and leadership team, providing regular updates on departmental performance.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Oversees the daily workflow of the field service department.
  • Ensures field departments' monthly, weekly, and daily workflow is completed, accurate, and timely.
  • Ensures Field Department goals are met.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Discipline and terminate employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Supervises and assists with interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, and terminating all staff under their supervision.
  • Assist Team Leader with Level 3 Service Call issues.
  • Thoroughly understands, implements, and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Writes, maintains, and updates company SOPs (standard operating procedures) when needed.
  • Leads and develops field staff through the company's greater purpose statement, mission statement, core values, and customer service pledge while adhering to the same values.
  • Maintains and completes tasks according to the schedule identified in the Branch Manager checklist.
  • Ensures that reports are completed on a timely basis and disseminated appropriately.
  • Coordinates with the Production Manager to ensure routing goals are maintained, and monthly goals are achieved.
  • Ensures optimum route efficiency is maintained through routine routing audits according to company standards.
  • Ensures all work (projects and service accounts) is appropriately scheduled.
  • Ensures all materials for projects and service accounts are available when needed.
  • Ensures inventory of all materials, equipment, tools, and service trucks is tracked.
  • Ensures all equipment for projects and service accounts are available when needed.
  • Ensures all accidents are properly documented and reported immediately.
  • Is a member of the leadership team; participates in leadership team meetings.
  • Oversees training program for field staff.
  • Assists trainer in creating and executing training plans and ongoing training programs for field staff.
  • Ensures that accounting and administration receive all paperwork from the field on time.
  • Ensures that company quality standards are met.
  • Ensures that all safety procedures are followed and that the field is run safely.
  • Ensures that the safety program is in place and that all field personnel attend safety meetings weekly.
  • Coordinates with the HR department regarding H2B requirements.
  • Evaluates equipment utilization and makes recommendations for future purchases.
  • Ensures that service trucks and equipment are maintained properly and in a timely manner to reduce unscheduled service disruptions.
  • Supervises the company warehouse space.
  • Oversees and ensures that all field production tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Projects equipment needs and maintains responsibility for equipment and maintenance budgets.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of the company's new business development plan.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of the company's training goals.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of the company's strategic plan.
  • Assists in the implementation and achievement of the company's annual budget goals.
  • Is certified in CPR and First Aid.
  • Keeps CEO informed and current regarding all pertinent details in their department.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least two years of related experience required.
  • Certified in CPR and First Aid.


Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
