As an After School Group Leader with KamaÊ»Äina Kids, youâll create a safe, positive place where elementary-age children can play, learn, explore, and connect. From outdoor games and STEM challenges to art projects and homework help, youâll keep kids engaged while being a trusted, encouraging adult in their day.

MondayâFriday afternoons
Most shifts: 1:30 PMâ5:30 PM
Wednesdays begin around 12:30 PM for early release
No evenings or weekends
No holiday work
This schedule can be a great fit for college students, aspiring teachers, coaches, retirees, parents returning to work, or anyone looking for rewarding part-time work.
What You'll Do
Youâll help turn everyday afternoons into something kids look forward to by:
Leading games, outdoor play, and recreation
Planning arts, crafts, STEM, and enrichment activities
Helping children with homework
Encouraging teamwork, confidence, and positive behavior
Building relationships with children and families
Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and organized program
What We're Looking For:
You donât need years of experience. Weâre looking for people who are:
Energetic and enjoy working with elementary-age children
Dependable, patient, and encouraging
Comfortable leading activities and keeping kids engaged
Positive team players
At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
