The role you鈥檒l contribute:
Performs high-quality screening and diagnostic mammographic examinations and procedures in accordance with physician orders, regulatory guidelines, and departmental protocols. This role ensures patient comfort and safety, provides accurate imaging for interpretation by radiologists, and maintains compliance with MQSA and ACR standards while supporting a positive patient experience.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Positions patients and operates mammography equipment to obtain optimal images, adjusting technical factors and compression as needed.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures patient identification, safety, and comfort, explaining procedures clearly and addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and compassion.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Follows all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines, including quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and documentation requirements.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborates with radiologists and breast imaging team to ensure accurate imaging and timely communication of results or next steps.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participates in patient tracking and follow-up processes, assisting with recalls, additional imaging coordination, and biopsy scheduling as required by departmental workflows.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supports breast center initiatives, such as accreditation preparation, community screening events, or quality improvement activities.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs high-quality examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs and documents daily system quality control (QC) checks in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.

Minimum qualifications:
