Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing and treating speech and language disorders in patients, particularly in pediatric settings. This role is essential for providing quality care and support to individuals with communication challenges, helping them achieve their fullest potential.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective speech therapy interventions.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress.
  • Provide early intervention services for children with developmental delays in communication.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay informed about advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language functions.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred; school-based experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care through empathy and understanding.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
