Our rapidly growing team is seeking an experienced, highly technical Mitigation Manager to serve as the resident technical expert on property mitigation. Bridging the gap between active job management and senior management, this role demands extensive, hands-on prior field experience as a technician and crew chief. By ensuring that every project is executed with the highest level of technical proficiency and care, this role successfully fulfills service needs, delivers an exceptional customer experience, and builds unwavering client confidence. This front-line management position leads their team to operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the resident subject matter expert on mitigation and restoration processes, providing advanced technical guidance and troubleshooting on complex jobs.
  • Manage the excellent performance of the mitigation team, setting the standard for technical execution, quality control, and professionalism on every active project.
  • Manage the customer experience and serve as a front-line representative of the brand, demonstrating the Here to Help commitment to our customers.
  • Manage the client experience and overall client satisfaction. Build confidence with insurance carriers and adjusters through accurate scoping, quality execution, flawless documentation, and professional communication.
  • Mentor and train Restoration technicians. Rigorously develop the technical skills and execution of field staff and Crew Chiefs.
  • Build detailed estimates and ensure full scope capture and absolute technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate and perform restoration processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.
  • Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers.
  • Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines.
  • Manage and control labor and consumable usage on assigned projects.
  • Manage equipment and materials (assets). Protect assets and ensure they are used properly to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in property restoration. Experience in mitigation at various levels of technical competency, including several years as a technician.
  • Industry certifications required. (e.g., IICRC certifications such as WRT, ASD, AMRT).
  • Minimum 3 years of crew management / supervisory experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and management skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
