Summary:

 

At Aptiv Interconnect, we inspire the world’s most innovative teams by doing the right thing, the right way. We are seeking a Multicell operator on the 2nd shift. (4:00 pm - 12:00 am) The Multi Cell Operator is responsible for operating and learning a range of equipment within a designated area to support jacket cells. This includes shielders, twinners, small and large tape wrappers, and respooling equipment. Operators are expected to be proficient in running multiple types of equipment based on order demands and to adjust as needed, moving between machines according to backlog or supervisor instructions.

 

Leadership & Core Responsibilities:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and operate multiple machines
  • Proficient in using a micrometer
  • Knowledgeable with in-process testing procedures for manufacturing
  • Excellent time management skills to meet production demands efficiently

 

Position Requirements:

  • Follow all safety rules and report unsafe situations or equipment immediately
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Strong communication and people skills required
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

 

Education & Technical Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

 

Certifications & Competencies:

  • Systems Proficiency:  ADP, ERP system, Google Suite
  • Core Competencies: Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and operate multiple machines, excellent time management skills to meet production demands efficiently, strong communication and people skills required.



Total Rewards & Compensation

  • $20.60-$21.63 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
