JOB SUMMARY:
Assists the Hospital CEO, CNO, and Director of Nurses Behavioral Health in planning, organizing and directing the facility programs and performs related work assigned. Responsible for implementing performance improvement program and providing oversight of regulatory and compliance issues. Responsible for coordinating, planning and evaluating services in area of responsibility and utilizing participative management skills. Facilitates the delivery of quality patient care throughout patient care areas. Contributes to the Nursing department and hospital through support of the philosophy and objectives of professional psychiatric unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively directs and manages all inpatient program staff
- Oversees the day-to-day operation of the inpatient program
- Handles complaints quickly, accurately, and objectively
- Assists with the overall financial operations of the facility including budget.
- Assists in maintaining the program compliance with State, Local, and Federal Regulations
- Keeps current on changes to the mental health field and attends trainings pertinent to mental health and health care management
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates or Bachelors in Nursing
- Current Active RN licensure with LSBN or compact State
- Current BLS/CPR
- Current MOAB/CPI
