Cultivation Supervisor

Job Type: Full Time; Exempt 
Location: King of Prussia, PA
Shift:  Monday - Friday 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM 

Who You Are: 

As the Cultivation Supervisor, you will oversee one or more departments within the cultivation facility, reporting directly to the Cultivation Manager. You will play a key role in managing daily operations across various cultivation areas, including cloning, vegetative growth, transplanting, flowering, pruning, irrigation, nutrient systems, IPM, harvest, waste disposal, and inventory management. In this position, you will maintain detailed records to ensure adherence to company quality standards and state compliance requirements.

Additionally, you will oversee and support the cultivation team to ensure seamless operations and the production of high-quality cannabis.

What You Will Do: 

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of a large-scale cultivation facility while mentoring and coaching team members.
  • Train team members on cultivation techniques, protocols, and compliance requirements to ensure consistent performance.
  • Oversee all cultivation processes, including cloning, vegetative growth, transplanting, flowering, pruning, irrigation, nutrient systems, IPM, harvest, and inventory management.
  • Manage environmental control systems to optimize growing conditions.
  • Maintain cultivation protocols in line with Curaleaf SOPs and ensure compliance with all state regulations.
  • Track and achieve department and facility KPIs, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage team scheduling, performance reviews, and employee coaching while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Provide weekend and holiday coverage as needed and participate in rotational on-site schedules.

What You'll Bring:  

  • At least 3 years of cannabis cultivation experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience supervising 5+ team members.
  • Strong expertise in multiple media, irrigation techniques, crop rotation, light requirements, environmental controls, plant diseases, pests, nutrient deficiencies, and cannabis genetics.
  • Proven ability to build a cohesive team and confidently manage employee performance.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and compliance in all aspects of the role.

Even Better If:  

  • You have indoor cultivation experience preferred.
  • You are familiar with continuous improvement methodologies such as kaizen, 5S, or Six Sigma is a plus.
  • You possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and compliance standards in cannabis cultivation.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted 
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time 
  • Ability to occasionally climb ladder, crawl under low spaces 
  • Ability to use computer/look at a screen for long periods of time 
  • Ability to have close vision (able to read small print at 20 inches or less)
