Job Description

TheĀ Senior Visual MerchandiserĀ supports Retail stores in creating compelling seasonal presentations that align with the brand, enhance the consumer experience, and encourage full priceĀ purchasingĀ and relationship selling in the retail stores. Collaborating with different teams, this position assists in executing visual merchandising, creative installations, and in-store marketing efforts. TheĀ Senior Visual MerchandiserĀ assistsĀ in seasonal and new store openings, as well as brand presentations for the company.Ā Ā Ā 

A day in the life… 

  • Executes VM strategies throughĀ theĀ presentation of Lilly Pulitzer products lifecycle process.Ā 

  • Drive healthy sell throughsĀ and margins through the product placement in the Retail stores.Ā Ā 

  • Provide clear and detailedĀ seasonal andĀ delivery guidelines for stores including refresh andĀ off cadenceĀ needs. Create window options to account for regional buy differences and delayed style shipments.Ā 

  • Responsible for reviewing the selling of key items, business drivers, and featured merchandise in the visual guidelines andĀ modifyĀ based on selling.Ā 

  • Partner with the marketing teams toĀ align onĀ and requestĀ seasonal imagery,Ā in-storeĀ signage, window graphics, promotionalĀ displaysĀ and signage.Ā 

  • Partner with design and merchandising teams on key looks toĀ assureĀ positive results are driven and aligned with campaigns.Ā 

  • Help create, order, and execute seasonal proppingĀ toĀ help draw customers into stores and create a positive customer experience.Ā 

  • Review each store’s photos. Utilize each store’s merchandising photos as a training opportunity. Give constructive criticism and encourage the stores toĀ problem solve. Be flexible enough to allow for regional and store profile differences to be reflected in theĀ merchandiseĀ execution.Ā Ā Ā 

  • Support and attend store openings, off-site events, renovations, and non-seasonalĀ companyĀ visual needs.Ā Ā 

Qualifications for the PositionĀ 

  • A four-year college degree isĀ required, preferably with a major/minor withinĀ visual merchandising, marketing, orĀ business-relatedĀ degree.Ā 

  • 5Ā years ofĀ visual merchandisingĀ experience, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.Ā Ā

  • Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible,Ā additionalĀ working hours during peak periods.Ā
