GSK Apprenticeships are full-time entry level opportunities that offer high school graduates and first year college enrolled students (with less than 30 college credits) the opportunity to begin their career while studying towards their associate degree. This associate degree is fully funded by GSK. All apprenticeships are registered with the Department of Labor at each site, and apprentices receive a certificate of completion from the US Department of Labor upon their successful completion of their program.Ā Ā Ā

High School diploma or equivalent diploma by June 2026.Ā
High school GPA 2.5 (āBā) or above (4.0 scale)Ā Ā
High school Algebra and Geometry or 2 units equivalent of academic math (GPA 2.5 or above in each case)Ā Ā
High school English (GPA 2.5 or above)Ā Ā
High school Biology and Chemistry (GPA 2.5 or above)Ā Ā
Must have less than 30 college creditsĀ

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in EnglishĀ Ā
Preferred requirements:Ā
Have studied AP Biology, or ChemistryĀ
Have studied more than 1 life scienceĀ
Have studied High School PhysicsĀ
Have studied High School Pre-CalculusĀ
Have studied engineering, technology, robotics, shop or STEM related courses at high schoolĀ

Must be at least 18 years of age by August 1, 2026Ā
Less than 2 years of related work experience since graduating from high schoolĀ Ā
If offered a position, the candidate must be willing to enroll, and meet entry requirements, with one of GSK's partnering community colleges or technical institutions, in the preferred related instruction course.Ā
Must be able to commute on a daily basis to GSK worksite and related instruction facility, with a maximum commute time of 60 minutes one way.Ā Ā Ā Ā

Working at our biopharmaceuticalmanufacturing site, you will help to ensure we have the latest, safe, efficient, and reliable processes and equipment to deliver life-saving medicines and vaccines to people in 90 % of the worldās countries. Electromechanical apprentices at Upper Merion will spend approx. 1 day per week studying towards an Associateās degree in Engineering Scienceat Montgomery County Community College. You will spend most of your week working in our manufacturing facility, working within theengineering department, receiving on-the-job training from our own industry experts, and gaining technical skills.Ā Over the 3- 4 years of the apprenticeship you will have a personalizedtraining programto help you develop and progress.Ā Ā

Developinghands-on mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation skillsĀ Ā Ā
Learning how to maintain production equipmentĀ Ā

Diagnosing and resolving breakdownsĀ Ā
Assisting with the design, install and testing of new equipmentĀ Ā
Consistently operatingto Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Ā Ā
Maintaining and calibrating a wide range of equipment to ensure continual production of accurate and precise resultsĀ
Looking for ways to improve safety, efficiency and qualityof our manufacturing processesĀ Ā
