Job DetailsJob Location: Catawba Two Kings Casino - Kings Mountain, NC 28086Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: Any  Job Summary: The Financial & Planning Analyst supports the casino’s strategic and financial goals by preparing  budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and performance analyses. This role provides management  with critical insights into revenue, expenses, labor, and capital projects to ensure sound decision making. The analyst works closely with department leaders, finance, and executive management  to monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements that enhance  profitability and efficiency.  Responsibilities: • Assist in the preparation, review, and monitoring of annual operating and capital budgets.  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenues, expenses, labor, and  departmental performance.  • Analyze casino revenue streams (gaming and non-gaming) to identify trends, risks, and  opportunities.  • Provide variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year results, explaining key  drivers.  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports for management  review.  • Support long-term strategic planning initiatives, including market analysis and financial  projections.  • Partner with department leaders to evaluate financial performance and recommend costsaving or revenue-enhancing strategies.  • Assist in preparing presentations for executive leadership and regulatory agencies.  • Monitor and report on capital project spending to ensure alignment with approved budgets. • Ensure compliance with internal controls, gaming regulations, and company financial  policies. • Participate in special projects, system implementations, or process improvement initiatives  as needed.  • Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsQualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or closely related field, required;  MBA or professional certification (CPA, CFA) preferred. A combination of education and  experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.  • Four (4) years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or closely related field;  hospitality or casino industry experience strongly preferred.  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data. • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License as required by tribal  and state authorities.  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.  Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and business intelligence/reporting tools. • Knowledge of casino revenue streams, KPI’s and financial reporting practices preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present findings clearly to nonfinancial stakeholders. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, using the English language.  • Ability to work an alternate schedule as needed, to include nights, weekends and holidays.  • Ability to work in a loud fast-paced environment (may occasionally be exposed to secondhand cigarette smoke). Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands  and arms; bend to open/use lower drawers or cabinetry; to talk, hear, and see. Prolonged periods of  sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk;  climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
