We’re looking for a Fleet Technician II to perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on company vehicles and equipment. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you’ll help ensure our fleet stays reliable, safe, and compliant with DOT and company standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.

  • Inspect systems for DOT and CHP compliance and make minor repairs (lights, hoses, etc.).

  • Document all work, including time, parts used, and service details.

  • Report and communicate Out-of-Service (OOS) issues immediately.

  • Perform service calls and tire changes when needed.

  • Assist other technicians and support a clean, safe, and efficient shop.

  • Attend company and vendor training to continue building your skills.

What You Bring

Experience: 3–5 years in equipment or vehicle maintenance
Knowledge: DOT regulations, basic diagnostics, preventive maintenance
Skills:

  • Proficient with power tools and diagnostic equipment

  • Clear written and verbal communication

  • Dependable and safety-focused

  • Team player with a strong work ethic

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid Class C Driver’s License

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and in a fast-paced environment
