Description

Working in the environmental section of Maintenance Dept. Inspect and perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance of plant machinery and equipment, specifically the ductwork and airflow equipment. Hours may vary depending on projects needing completion. Perform all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions. Take necessary action to minimize delay time and maximize production.

Requirements

  • Repair and maintain equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, or Leadperson. 
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and operating difficulties with limited supervision.
  • Assist in making repairs and adjustments with higher rated maintenance people.
  • Assist in equipment rebuilding.
  • Effect repairs and adjustments, where familiar.
  • Complete minor electrical maintenance, such as replacing fuses, motors and switches.
  • Perform cutting, welding, fabrication, rigging and motor, drive and belt alignment.
  • Read and interpret machine drawings, parts diagrams, basic pneumatics and hydraulics. 


Monday-Friday 06:00am-2:30pm, weekends if needed
