Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead large-scale facility modernization and expansion projects at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant. As a Program Manager, you will deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while leading a cross-functional team and communicating effectively with executive leadership and government customers.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale (> $100M) complex Capital Investment projects, ensuring timely, budgeted, and quality delivery.
  2. Profit and Loss Management: Manage project finances, ensuring budget adherence and financial target achievement.
  3. Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates to executive leadership and government customers on project status, progress, and issues.
  4. Sub-contractor and Supplier Management: Oversee sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements and quality standards are met.
  5. Project Planning and Control: Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  6. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
Necessary Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.
  2. Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant project management experience in Defense, Construction, or Oil/Gas/Chemical industries.
  3. Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication with upper management and customers.
  4. Technical Writing: Proficient in technical writing, such as proposal and statement of work development.
  5. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Desired Experience and Skills:
  1. Masters Degree: Preferred in a related field.
  2. Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA Level III Program Management certification preferred.
  3. Earned Value Management: Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or similar tools preferred.
  4. Scheduling Tools: Experience with integrated master schedules using MS Project, Primavera, etc. preferred.
  5. Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $108787 - $184937

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
