alooola Client Relationship Manager

About alooola®

alooola is a wealth management platform for medical professionals and corporate employees. Investments, retirement planning, spending, insurance, all in one place, backed by real advisory expertise and a cutting-edge mobile application.

We're a rapidly growing fintech platform affiliated with Glen Eagle, a 30-year-old advisory firm with over $1B in assets under management. Privately held, profitable, no outside investors. We're taking what we know about serving doctors and building a digital-first experience around it. Currently at $65M AUM and growing.

The Role

You'll be responsible for meeting with and servicing an existing client base while also pursuing new business development, primarily for our corporate retirement plan line (401(k)s).

In your first 90 days, you'll likely:

  • Inherit a list of 150-200 existing clients on the platform to begin servicing. This will include reaching out to schedule phone calls or zoom meetings with each of them over the following 12 months.
  • Schedule 5-8 in-person meetings at the offices of existing corporate 401(k) clients to make a presentation of each of their respective 401(k) plans.
  • Proactively reach out to employees of the assigned 401(k) plans to see if we can help them adjust their existing retirement plan allocation or meet any of their other financial goals.
  • Build and work a pipeline of companies nationwide that are candidates for a 401(k)-fee review

Day-to-day, you'll:

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, first conversations, fee review/audit, proposal, close, and handoff to plan design and onboarding
  • Travel to the offices of existing 401(k) plans.
  • Build and maintain notes/tasks for existing clients as well as a pipeline of prospective clients in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with the advisory and plan design team to make sure what's proposed is deliverable
  • Proactively reach out to 401(k) plan participants and existing clients to schedule meetings.

Who This Is For

You have experience selling into small and mid-sized businesses nationwide, ideally in retirement plans, group benefits, payroll, or a related B2B financial/insurance space. You're comfortable being the face of the company in a room full of strangers and can turn a conference conversation into a real opportunity.

As a person, you:

  • Are a natural relationship builder who can earn trust with business owners and decision-makers across industries
  • Are comfortable with a consultative sale. This isn't a hard close; it's "let us show you the math and build a long-term relationship”
  • Thrive with autonomy
  • Are organized and disciplined about the pipeline and follow-up
  • Comfortable with rejection during a sales process without being discouraged.
  • Extremely hard-working
  • Communicate clearly
  • Are comfortable with travel and representing the alooola brand in person
  • Ethical and honest

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience selling retirement plans (401(k)/403(b)), PEO, payroll, or group benefits
  • Existing relationships with CPAs, benefits consultants, or attorneys
  • Experience or familiarity with medical or other professional practices
  • Series 65 or willingness to obtain relevant licensing
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (RIA, broker-dealer, insurance)
  • Familiarity with Redtail CRM

How We Work

  • Primarily in person at our office in Kingston, NJ, with roughly 20% travel
  • Informal, high-trust communication. You'll flag blockers and share wins as they happen

Compensation Structure:

  • $60K base salary
  • $15K annual bonus (based on client outreach, retention, and other pre-stated metrics)
  • Additional Bonus based on the AUM of existing clients being serviced and new assets brought in by you personally.
  • Year 1 on-target earnings expected to be $77K-$85K

Who Should Apply

This role is for you if you like being the person who walks into a room, builds trust fast, and closes business, and if you want to help a growing fintech-backed advisory firm.
