Director of Social Services

Job Purpose: Maintains successful operation of Social Service Department ensuring that the department meets all local, state, county and federal agency regulations and standards.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Minimum two years' experience preferred in case work. Thorough knowledge of case work process in medical and public health settings.
  • Working knowledge of social and health resources in the community required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse population. Mastery of the English language required.

Supervision of others: Directs and delegates the management of professional and ancillary social service staff.
