We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide mental health services in long-term care and nursing home facilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver impactful psychiatric care to an often-overlooked population.

Requirements


  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits

  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications

  • Collaborate with facility staff and family members

  • Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care

  • Document care in compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

  • Certified PMHNP

  • Active DEA

  • Active, unrestricted state license

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience with geriatric or long-term care populations preferred (not required)

  • Prior experience as a Psychiatric RN or Psychiatric NP in a nursing home or similar setting is a plus
