Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for but not limited to:

Proficiency in all areas of maintenance.
Knowledge of safety regulations and requirements.
Prior industrial maintenance experience.
Welding experience (preferred).
Mechanical experience.
DIAGNOSTICS & REPAIR: Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, brakes and electrical components on lifts.
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as lubrication, inspection of machines for issues, cleaning of machines.
FIELD CALLS: Respond to service calls at DSCO facilities using DSCO service truck.
DOCUMENT RECORDS: Maintain work order records, maintain records of lifts and keep inventory of spare parts needed to ensure quick, timely fixes of lifts and preventative maintenance.
SAFETY: Ensure all equipment operates to company and OSHA standards.
Working from arial platforms.
Computer experience.

Shelby Plant

1st shift
Monday to Friday
Overtime as needed

Position Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License
Forklift experience required
2 + years’ experience in heavy equipment, automotive or industrial mechanics. Proficient with hydraulic system, electrical systems (up to 440) and mechanical troubleshooting.
