Job Posting – Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Proficiency in all areas of maintenance.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and requirements.
  • Prior industrial maintenance experience.
  • Welding experience (preferred).
  • Mechanical experience.
  • DIAGNOSTICS & REPAIR: Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, brakes and electrical components on lifts.
  • PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as lubrication, inspection of machines for issues, cleaning of machines.
  • FIELD CALLS: Respond to service calls at DSCO facilities using DSCO service truck.
  • DOCUMENT RECORDS: Maintain work order records, maintain records of lifts and keep inventory of spare parts needed to ensure quick, timely fixes of lifts and preventative maintenance.
  • SAFETY: Ensure all equipment operates to company and OSHA standards.
  • Working from arial platforms.
  • Computer experience.

 

Work Location:

  • Shelby Plant
  • 1st shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime as needed

 

Position Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Forklift experience required
  • 2 + years’ experience in heavy equipment, automotive or industrial mechanics. Proficient with hydraulic system, electrical systems (up to 440) and mechanical troubleshooting.
