What to Expect in the Role:
  • Provide introductory information to new customers.
  • Ensure that customers are satisfied with products or services.
  • Follow up with clients or customers to check that they’re still satisfied with any purchases.
  • Let customers or clients know about additional products or services.
  • Determining the quickest, most effective ways to answer a client’s or customer’s questions.
  • Escalate queries and concerns to appropriate area.
  • Troubleshoot common issues with a product or service.
  • Work with operations and other departments to find appropriate solutions.
  • Answer and direct all telephone calls in a timely manner.
  • Assist customers in a professional manner.
  • Be knowledgeable of all past and present products.
  • Enter credit memos sent from receiving into the computer.
  • Contact web customers when items are on backorder.
  • Contact customers when there is a delay in shipping merchandise.
  • Be prepared to work varied schedules according to production schedule.
What We Will Be Needing From You:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Ability to answer a high volume of calls and/or emails daily.
  • Ability to share work among a customer service team.
  • Attentiveness and patience.
  • Time-management skills
  • Ability to find the positive in any situation.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, Email, cash register, and basic office equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Prior customer service and/or retail experience is preferred.
