Position Overview

Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking an Activity Security Representative I to support Department of Defense Special Access Program activities at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico.

The Activity Security Representative provides multi-disciplined security support to government facilities and organizations. The position provides day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and Special Access Program activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
  • Assist with maintenance of document accountability databases and associated correspondence.
  • Process inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records.
  • Perform destruction of classified materials in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Process magnetic media for accountability.
  • Provide reproduction support for classified materials.
  • Maintain daily logs associated with document control and security administration.
  • Assist with processing inbound and outbound data transfer files.
  • Transfer electronic data files to internal customers.
  • Maintain customer point-of-contact databases.
  • Research, process, file, and maintain inbound and outbound visit notices.
  • Escort facility visitors and maintain associated visitor logs.
  • Assist with preparation of facility access control badges.
  • Conduct entry and exit inspections.
  • Assist with maintenance of facility access control systems, including visitor control.
  • Perform data entry into personnel access security databases and maintain sponsored billet and quota information.
  • Assist with maintenance of personnel security files.
  • Follow and enforce customer Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Support security awareness and education programs.
  • Perform administrative support functions as directed by site leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of related experience.
  • SAP experience desired.
  • Ability to support document control, visitor control, personnel security, information security, and classified material accountability functions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a classified government environment.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree desired.
  • A Bachelor’s degree counts as four years of experience.
  • An Associate’s degree in a related area counts as two years of experience.

Experience / Certification Equivalencies

  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts toward one year of experience.
  • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts toward one year of experience.
  • Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is three years.
  • One year of experience may be credited for each separate SPED certification, not to exceed three years total.

Security Clearance Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance required.
  • Must possess or be eligible for SCI access.
  • Must be eligible for access to Special Access Program information.
  • Must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
