Job Duties
- Use a Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) electric arc welding process to weld parts to print specifications.
- Inspect parts per print specifications.
- Set-up and adjust welder and fixtures to print specifications.
- Use a carbon arc air gouging and cutting process for rework.
- Grind and deburr parts to production traveler and print specifications.
- Rotate to one of 16 various weld stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization daily of the work area.
- Comply with all applicable Occupational, Environmental, Health and Safety standards, as well as Crown’s safety rules and regulations for each task performed.
- Assist with the training of departmental employees.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Related work experience preferred. Ability to read, analyze blueprints, understand weld symbols, remember, analyze, observe.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and understanding basic math (including decimals, fractions, and the ability to convert between metric and standard).Â
