Kiowa District Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Critical Access Hospital team. What You'll Do Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in both the Medical/Surgical and Emergency Departments. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Respond quickly and confidently to both routine and emergency patient care needs. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely while monitoring patient response. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate exceptional patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record. Promote patient safety while maintaining compliance with infection prevention standards and nursing best practices. Current Kansas Registered Nurse license in good standing. Current BLS certification. ACLS, PALS, or TNCC certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain). Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Hold a current Kansas Nurse license. Maintain required 30 units of Continue Education every two years. Have a comprehensive knowledge of infection control practices, safe lifting practices, and caring for patients of any age group. Willingness to participate in in-service training.
