SUMMARY Â
Mortenson is currently seeking a part-time (3 days a week for 8 hours each day, up to 24 hours a week) Receptionist that will be responsible for managing the front desk for Mortenson’s office and providing exceptional customer service for external and internal customers. Â

RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
- Provide general administrative supportÂ
- Greet guests, provide guest badge, and notify appropriate partyÂ
- Operate multi-line telephone console, utilizing computerized database in answering and transferring callsÂ
- Handle queries and provide information to internal and external callersÂ
- Maintain guest logÂ
- Schedule conference rooms when requestedÂ
- Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsÂ
- Other duties as assignedÂ
Â
QUALIFICATIONSÂ
- High school diploma or GED equivalentÂ
- Minimum six years of experience in a receptionist or customer service functionÂ
- Excellent communication and phone etiquette skillsÂ
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practicesÂ
- Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skillsÂ
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple administrative tasksÂ
- Microsoft Office, Project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate levelÂ
- Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsÂ
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies to employees and outside partiesÂ
- Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedbackÂ

The base pay range for this role is $19.57/hr MIN - $26.44/hr MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Â

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.  Â
