Description
The AVLM Audio Engineer is responsible for overseeing all audio execution for services and ministry events at the Snohomish Campus. This role ensures a high-quality, distraction-free worship experience by managing sound systems, supporting worship teams, and maintaining audio equipment. The position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with volunteers and ministry leaders.
- Lead all front-of-house (FOH) and/or monitor mixing for Sunday servicesÂ
- Prepare and execute sound for weekly rehearsals and servicesÂ
- Partner with worship leaders, musicians, and production team to achieve desired sound qualityÂ
- Set up, test, and troubleshoot audio equipment prior to services and eventsÂ
- Oversee and maintain sound systems, consoles, microphones, and related AV equipmentÂ
- Train, schedule, and support volunteer audio team membersÂ
- Ensure consistent audio quality across all services and environmentsÂ
- Support auxiliary ministries (women’s, men’s, DNA, youth, special events, etc.) with sound needsÂ
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of audio/production areasÂ
- Identify and communicate equipment needs, upgrades, or repairs
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in live sound engineering (church or live event setting preferred)Â
- Familiarity with digital mixing consoles, audio routing, and troubleshootingÂ
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and volunteersÂ
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in live environmentsÂ
- Availability to work Sundays and scheduled rehearsals/events, as requested
