We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead sourcing strategy and supplier execution for our Kirkland, WA operations. This role will manage day-to-day procurement activities, build supplier capability, negotiate cost and contract terms, and ensure materials arrive on time to meet our customers’ production and delivery commitments.

This is a critical position and a key voice at the table, partnering closely with Operations, Planning, Quality, and Engineering to support on-time production and drive our move toward standardized processes and ERP-driven procurement.  This position is onsite and will require occasional travel to supplier sites and other AeroFlow sites.

So, what will you be doing as a Job Title?

  • Lead purchasing at the Kirkland facility, including material sourcing, vendor qualification, and purchase order execution
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and agreements with suppliers across metals, machining, processing, raw materials, and indirect spend
  • Maintain site-level supplier performance scorecards and lead supplier business reviews
  • Resolve supply constraints, shortages, and quality issues through proactive communication and escalation
  • Partner with Production & Planning to forecast material needs and support build schedules
  • Ensure ERP data accuracy, including lead times, costing, and part set-up
  • Support cost savings, lead time reduction, and supplier consolidation initiatives
  • Collaborate with the broader AeroFlow supply chain network as we implement standard tools and processes across all sites
  • Represent the Kirkland site in cross-functional project teams and continuous improvement efforts

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing
  • Demonstrated skill in supplier negotiations and commercial contracting
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing shop floor with daily material availability needs
  • Strong ERP acumen — Epicor experience a plus
  • Ability to build strong internal and external partnerships
  • A proactive problem-solver comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change
  • Experience working with AS9100, ITAR, FAR/DFARS, or regulated suppliers preferred
