Job DetailsJob Location: LCMS Foundation - St. Louis, MO 63122The LCMS Foundation Mission The Foundation has four primary purposes: Providing planned giving services to LCMS members for the benefit of all ministries of the Synod. Providing investment management services for ministry funds and endowments held by congregations and other LCMS ministries and institutions. Provide training to others in the LCMS on how to do charitable gift planning. Receiving non-cash gifts, like land and securities, on behalf of any LCMS organization, so that they can convert those gifts into liquid assets. When the Foundation does its job well, both donors and ministries are blessed. Specifically, donors are assisted in using their God-given spirit of generosity to make the most effective gifts to ministries and their families. While ministries are blessed through the creation of long-term funding sources, as well as by having the Foundation as a trusted steward to invest and grow those sources. The Imaging Associate position is a part-time, temporary role running from 06/01/2026 through 08/14/2026 - 32 hours per week. Reporting Relationships Reports to Senior Vice President Data and Legal Services Essential Job Functions Scan documents into electronic formats using high-speed scanners, document management systems. Ensure scanned documents are clear, legible, and free of errors, with proper resolution and file naming conventions. Batch-scan large volumes of documents efficiently while maintaining accuracy and organization. Verify scanned files against original documents to confirm completeness and correctness before archiving or distributing. Assist in indexing and tagging documents for searchability and compliance with retention policies. Organize scanned files into structured folders or databases according to departmental or facility protocols. Follow strict confidentiality protocols to protect donors privacy and sensitive information. Report discrepancies, damaged documents, or issues with scanning equipment to the supervisor promptly. Adhere to LCMS Foundation values, including stewardship (handling resources responsibly), integrity (maintaining ethical standards), and excellence (delivering accurate work). Education and Experience High School Diploma Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Ability to operate high-speed scanners, multifunction printers, and document management systems. Ability to sit for extended periods with frequent use of a computer and scanning equipment. Occasional lifting of light materials (e.g., file folders, binders) and standing/walking. Maintain logs or tracking sheets for scanned documents, including dates, quantities. Attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy in scanning and data entry. Organizational skills to manage large volumes of documents efficiently. Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot scanning issues or resolve discrepancies.
