About the Role:

The Pest Control Technician plays a critical role in maintaining safe, healthy, and pest-free environments within construction sites and related facilities. This position involves the identification, treatment, and prevention of various pests that can compromise structural integrity and worker safety. The technician will apply integrated pest management techniques to effectively control infestations while adhering to all safety and environmental regulations. Success in this role ensures that construction projects proceed without delays caused by pest-related issues, contributing to overall project quality and client satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid pesticide applicator license or certification as required by the state of employment.
  • Experience in pest control, preferably in construction or industrial settings.
  • Ability to safely handle and apply pesticides and other pest control products.
  • Strong understanding of pest biology, behavior, and control methods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in integrated pest management (IPM) or related fields.
  • Experience working on construction sites or within the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards related to pest control.
  • Strong communication skills for training and educating site personnel.

Responsibilities:
